This week is my son's birthday and it really put the pressure on me to get myself in gear. He's turning 21, so I had to make something special!
I saw many versions of this card all over Pinterest, but I decided to make my own version. The card started with a Kraft background run through my Cuttlebug. The mug is a rectangle in Honey cardstock that was scored and sanded. The "foam" came from 3 sizes of trees (with the trunks removed) from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, and the handle was cut from a circle punch. I stamped the 21.
Pretty simple, huh? Unless most of your stuff is in boxes! It took me longer to find everything than it did to make the card. But, have no fear, I will get there!
The good news is that my Cricut Expression made the trip across the country just fine! Let me know if you ever need packing advice, I'm happy to help!
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Fantasy Stampers Challenge - Autumn colors - beer is autumn colored!
Craft for the Craic - Circles - mine are just ruffled!
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes
Have a great week everyone, and stop back again soon, since there is now crafty hope for me!
