What Every Well-Dressed Witch is Wearing This Season...

The entire hat was made using  Close To My Heart® products.  I started with a 9" circle for the brim of the hat.  The rest of it was cut using the Cricut Artiste® Cartridge - 3-D object on page 43.  It was glued to the circle and embellished with flowers made from the Cricut Art Philosophy® Cartridge.  The top of the hat was embellished with Black Tulle ribbon and two more flowers.
Everything you need is available on my Online Business Address, available by clicking the Shop button at the top of the page or clicking here.

You know you want one for the center of your table!

I created this hat for the new challenge at My Time To Craft.  Be sure to see the rest of the Halloween creations that the rest of the Design Team has created!

Halloween Decor

Yes, It's time to show you a fabulous way to decorate with pumpkins without the mess!  Here is what you will have when you are done:

I started with an artificial pumpkin that you can buy at the local craft store and cut it in half with a sharp knife:
The best part is that you can now make two decorated pumpkins!

The next, very important item is...
Yes, it IS that easy!  Just stretch one leg of the tights over the pumpkin half.  Cut off the excess, tie it in a knot, and tuck it into the back of the pumpkin.

Now, you decorate with whatever you have:  I chose ribbons and spiders.  Here is a close-up:

This pumpkin is hanging on my office door.  I have some flowers and a raven for the other half - I just haven't had  time to create that one yet!  As soon as I do, I'll add it to this post!

Hope you liked this quick and easy tutorial on creating a pumpkin for Halloween.  Be sure to stop back again soon!

Just Sepia!

Hi Everyone!  The week got away from me.  I know I promised more projects and some exciting news - shame on me.  I can't give details, but, things were changing by the minute all week at work!  So glad it's the weekend!!!!

Here is my "Just Sepia" project for this week at My Time To Craft:

Oh, the news I wanted to share?  Well, I found out that I can't give out any details yet, but let say this:  It will definitely result in me sharing some new things with all of you!  I will give out the details as soon as I can!

Have a great weekend !

Trick or Treat Blog Hop

If you just came from Kim's Blog, you are in the right place!

Welcome to my stop on the Trick or Treat Blog Hop.  Here's what I created:
The candy dish was made with two great finds from the Dollar Store.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo before I glued the pieces together!  I'm sure you can see that the base is a candle stick.  I used some E6000 to glue it to the square top and created a new piece!
Now, I used the Cricut Artiste® cartridge to create the piece that wraps around the dish and the pillow box was created using the Cricut Art Philosophy® cartridge. Both use the Moonlight papers (X716B) The labels are from the Magic Potions (C1509) stamp set.  Everything is Close to My Heart® and is available by clicking the SHOP button at the top of my blog!

Here are some "close-ups":

Your next stop on the hop is Jenny's Blog.

I hope you'll stop back again soon!  I have some exciting news to share this week, along with more projects I'm sure you'll enjoy!
Happy Hopping!

Here is the line-up, in case you get lost - and, don't forget, there is "candy"!  Check out Ashley's blog for the details!
