A Pencil With Chocolate & Caramel!

In honor of starting yet another school year, I present this pencil with chocolate and caramel.  Just 2 of my many favorite things!
In case you haven't figured it out yet, there is a roll of Rolos® inside.  To make it, start with a piece of yellow cardstock that is 3.5" X 4.5" and score it every half inch lenghwise.  Cut the one edge with deckle scissors and wrap it around the Rolos®.  I punched a pink circle for the top and a small strip of pink cardstock for the "eraser".  Attach a small strip of aluminum foil and a Hershey's Kiss® for the point.  Embellish to your liking and Voila!  A Back To School Pencil!  The gals in our office loved them!

I can't take credit for the idea.  A gal posted this on our Bulletin Board and said she found the idea in Creating Keepsakes Magazine.

It's a quick and easy project and makes a great gift for anyone who works in a school.

Back To School With H2H

Yes, it's that time of year again!  Back To School!  This week's challenge was to use the Back To School Theme.
The cardstock is:  Sunny Yellow, Cranberry, Chocolate, and Black.
Stampsets:  Sans Alphabet, Aspiration, & Celebrations -Solid, one of the very first acrylic stamps from Close To My Heart®.
The ruler is from an old scrapbook kit Denim Days.  I found it in my scraps!
